OUR MISSION
Exists To Cultivate Identity, Culture, And Build Advocate Loyalty For Clients Across Politics, Business, And Causes.
Cultivote was founded in 2017 to serve as a leadership capacity-building incubator and to provide a home to civic/business leaders looking to engage culture. Cultivote is an African-American millennial female-led boutique consulting firm based in Houston, Texas that works with political candidates, elected officials, and organizations not just locally, but across the country.

OUR FOUNDER
Dominique Davis is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Cultivote. Prior to founding Cultivote, Dominique was the Director of Operations/Chief of Staff at the Harris County Democratic Party during the 2016 electoral cycle.
In her role she oversaw the day-to-day activities of the Party and organized fundraisers/special events such as Living Legends; the Luci Baines Johnson Dinner & VIP Reception; and the 2016 Johnson, Rayburn, Richards Dinner.
Prior to the 2016 presidential season, Dominique held the role as Regional Field Director for the Domingo Garcia for Congress Campaign and worked on a variety of electoral campaigns and communications/corporate culture projects throughout Dallas and Tarrant County.
Dominique hails from Dallas-Fort Worth and is a first-generation college graduate; she obtained a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Oklahoma in 2008. Dominique currently is a member of the Emerge Texas Organizing Committee and a recipient of the 2018 A. Philip Randolph Institute, Houston-Tideland Community Leadership Award.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach is founded on the belief that engaged people drive performance. We understand that loyalty is not given, it has to be earned. Cultivote exists to foster loyalty through engagement. Engagement needs to be cultivated and requires a variety of approaches. We deeply value and respect tried-and-true methods, but we also equally value and respect emerging strategies. As landscapes change, so must the strategies. Too many consultants are working from the same playbook. You won’t get cookie-cutter at Cultivote.
We hope to prompt a rethinking of the way it’s always been done. Whether it’s inventing a new playbook or pairing traditional strategies with emerging strategies, your success is what matters most to us. We work to find the right mix of techniques based on the issue at hand. We work with the long-term in mind, not just the here-and-now.
